« on: Monday 26 January 09 21:02 GMT (UK) »
For the life of me I cannot find Blaenllechau road in the village of Blaenllechau,Rhondda.
I found Commercial Street.so I took the information off that ie.County:Glamorgan.Civil Parish:ystradyfodwg.
Ecclessiastical Parish:Ferndale Christchurch.Municipal borough:Rhondda. District No10.Parlimentary Borough:Glamorgan East Division, and finally Village:Blaenllechau.I have tried all configurations of this data and got nowhere. What more can I do? Can anybody help please?

Hi Warmul, I live opposite Blaenllechau and I believe Blaenllechau road was on the hill down from Commercial street, there were not many houses there only three or four, have you tried looking on an earlier census to try and pinpoint it?

Best Wishes Bethan

Hello Bethan, and Heddwch, I think I set out my question incorrectly.I know there is a Blaenllechau Road, and where it is.In fact I drove through it this morning. The point I was trying to make was, I can't find it on the 1901 census records.I found Commercial Street, which is the Street below it (geographically ) but when I enter the same information to look for Blaenllechau Road.I get " no results " This is baffeling me.I've also tried different spellings.
Thank you both for your time and help.I'll keep trying.
