Parry Family Keighley
« on: Tuesday 27 January 09 11:28 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
I've lost a Parry family.

What I know George and Daisy Parry lived in Keighley in 1941 when Robert Michael was born.
Address on birth certificate says 10 Smithfield Terrace Utley Keighley.
There was an older brother Richard born 1938 in Portsmouth where George and Daisy were married.
He went on to move to Australia, but as for Robert who knows.

Can someone see if there was any other children, I know that George was killed in Army in Feb 1943.

But still might have been another child.
Did they remain in the area or move?
Did the boys go to school in Keighley?
Any other info or direction to look would be wonderful.

Thanks
Anita (Australia)

Hi,
I have just seen you post and I am a daughter of Richard Parry and Robert was my uncle. I have not seen him( or the family) since I was little but my mum has some details about Robert that I might be able to get from my aunt Hazel who was his sister or half sister because daisy remarried I think.

Hi Anita,
Sorry- I am new to this site and not got the hang of messaging here yet. I have just strayed onto the site by accident and was surprised to see your post.
not yet comfortable swopping emails outside of here- notice that you don't say who you are but ask for more info about me.

Realise this is being picky but I am just being cautious before leaping in. Hope that you can understand.

Trisha

I sure can help you with Robert's side of the family... I am his grandson!

I hope you don't mind this question(s) but, it might sound a little blunt but we too are curious.
Are you a relation / how do you know the Parry family?

Cheers
Dave
