After any BDM and places information on the UK relatives of Arthur Harry Allen b1831, Barrington Cambridgeshire and his spouse Sophia Bertha Bush b c1822, Triplow Cambridgeshire.

Arthur and Sophia emig to Victoria, Aust 1855 aboard "Persia". with daughter Emma b 1852 Barrington Camb.
Later they had 3 more children, Agness ,Arthur and George.

UK parents of Arthur Harry, are John / William Allen and Sarah Starns.

I have no info for Sophia's parents, BDM etc.

We also can find no register of Sophia's death in Victoria Australia (Buckland area) around 1870's.

Thanks for you instant and informative reply.
This will certainly fill UK gaps in my family tree research and will also help my gran daughter who is doing a family origins year 7 project.
I have one problem , I may be getting addicted to genealogy.

Hi,
I've found the marriage in the parish registers of St Andrew the Less but the father of Sophia is different.
Arthur Allen. bachelor. Full age. Carpenter of Fitzroy St. Son of John. builder
Spohia Bush. spinster. full age. of Fitzroy St. Dau of Willliam, bricklayer
Married 15 Nov 1850
Witnesses Thomas Carter and Emma Mowlam.
