Hi All.

I am still looking to find any info on my grandmother Ellen Jane McClelland born c 1890 ?Co Down.
Is there a site for imigrants from Ireland to England?
Found two Ellens on the 1911 census but both living away from home,so not sure if any are her,need the 1901 census!
She was living in Kent at the time of her marriage in 1918.

Hi Jean,

There's nothing for Irish people travelling to Great Britain or people travelling the other direction as both islands were part of the United Kingdom.

Were those two Ellens you found living on their own ... with other McClellands ... or were they with families which took in lodgers?

Hi Christopher.
She is a domestic servant aged 23 on one and a nurse in the other.
