Is there anyone out there able to help in finding my Grandmother
Jessica or (Jessie) Duffy or ( Duffield ) born Wales around late 1800's to early 1900's.

She had two brothers who lived in Wales all their life's.

She married my g/farther Frederick Mildern Colston who is listed in the 1901 census age 12 in Bristol
Any link would be very helpful.

My husbands greatgrandfather Frederick Mildern was born in Plymouth1822.He married Sarah Rundle in 1841.As a merchant seaman, he lived in Charlton Kent in 1850 and Alverstoke Portsmouth in 1880.Other details are rather scarce.Intrigued by your info. on Frederick Mildern Colston,especially as you say that he was adopted. The only children of Frederick and Sarah are Edward (my husbands grandfather) b. 1856 Charlton Kent and Stratton b.1853 Plymouth.

Well I can give you all I have on Frederick Mildern Colston.
He was born in March 1889 and registered in Barton Regis. Bristol.
Then he was adopted by George and Annie Gregory in 1891 aged 2 yrs. Address 5 Barrow Lane Bristol.
His birthplace at this address states he was born in Eatville Bristol? strange!! there is a suburb called Eastville so I think thats the place.
Then I lose him until Sept 1913 when he married a Jessie S Duffy  Of Cardiff I have a few details of her family if you would like them let me know.
My family have a connection with the merchant navy! I wonder?
