Hi Karen,

This may come as a surprise to you - have a seat!

Today was the first day of my new hobby - tracing my family tree.

After a few hours of unreasonably expecting instant results using Geneology websites, I decided to just put a name into Google to see what happened.

Well now wasn't I surprised to see a blog discussing my Great-Great-Grandparents?

My name is Heather Mills and I live in Manchester, England. Nellie Beard was my Great-Grandmother. Her daughter Edna, my Great-Aunt, sadly died about 10 years ago but her daughter Dorothy, my Nanna, is alive and well at the grand age of 90 (it was her birthday in November) and also living in Manchester.

It seems that we are related!

It looks like I can help you unravel some of the mystery (I'm sorry to say that there are no millions in this family in spite of my unfortunate name-sake  :))

I look forward to hearing from you,

Heather

well hello there  ;D
I just want to say I didn't mean anything bad about your side of the family, its just really intrigued my aunts and my Grandfather as to what actually happened back then.  My Grandad was a little boy t the time so the details could all be askew!

I do have lots of information on that side of the family, the Beards all the way back to our Great Great Great Grandparents Solomon and Hannah Beard.

It would be fab to find out what happened and see what this side of the family is doing.
