I just wondering if anyone has any idea's as to where a 13 year old Leonard Morris may have been as he is not on the 1911 with his grandfather and brothers. Could he have been away at school or would that have been working age back then? Leonard was born in 1897 Aston Warwickshire.
his brothers were Thomas and Victor and grandfather Thomas Lewis.
thanks so much.

I found a Leonard Morris, aged 14, born Birmingham, 1897, in Stourbridge, Worcestershire, when I searched the 1911 site. He's recorded as a boarder. I think that, unless they were rich, he would have been of working age.
Could this be him?

As Tricia_2 says, if he was 13/14 in 1911 he could have been working... and been a boarder in that household.
What was his father's occupation? is work or boarding school most likely given the father's occupation?

Yes he could be boarding away from home because of either work or school, depending on the family background.
Here is some info on Stourbridge. It's a lovely town

By the way, 'Birmingham' became 'Greater Birmingham' in 1911, so places like Aston, which had been a separate parish in Warwickshire, or Kings Norton (including Moseley), which had been in Worcestershire, now all came under 'Birmingham'.

Thanks Ladies it could be him? does it say who he is living with? i might recognize some names.
His father died in 1909 and his mother moved here to Australia with youngest boy in 1910, so older brothers x 2 are living with the mothers father in hampton row. Thomas Lewis.

I may be wrong, but it seems to me that, to search the 1911 census, without paying to see the records, you need an idea of the names first
Have a look:
