Response re Margaret McPARTLAND and Thomas HOLLYWOOD
Thomas and Margaret were married Forkhill RC Parish 22 Feb 1860.
Marriage sponsors: John HOLLYWOOD and Aley McPARTLAND.
I believe Margaret was deceased before 31 March 1901 (Census night).
Thomas HOLLYWOOD, I think, was deceased before 1921.
I haven't figured out Thomas's parents.

Was this your request Yvonne? Years old now so you're sure to have found what you wanted.

hi mary
thomas and margarets children were pat .b.20/02/1861 mary .b.20/9/1862 elizabeth 12/6/1865 john 26/6/1868 and james my grandfather born 13/11/1870 so i think there marraige would have been late 1850 till 1860 realy looking to trace back my family  further then thomas and find out who his parents where. but finding it very difficult as so many  records are unreadable in parts and all seem to be the ones relating to my family would really be grateful for any help you can give me.
                                               regards

Response to "Hollywood" re Thomas HOLLYWOOD & Margaret McPARTLAND.
Ireland, Civil Reg. Indexeds 1845-1958 - FamilySearch - death Jan-March 1917 for a Thomas HOLLYWOOD, Newry registration, Co. Armagh age 77 fits in, age wise, with his marriage
22 Feb 1860.
Margaret, his wife, I think was already deceased by 1901, so hopefully the informant for Thomas's death knew the name of Thomas's father

"Hollywood" re finding Thomas HOLLYWOOD's parents: If you bought that death certificate, Jan-March 1917 aged 77, and it turned out to be his death (which I'd be surprised if it wasn't), you should get on the certificate who his father was. Once you have a father for him  I may be able to help you go back further with your HOLLYWOODs.  But you need Thomas HOLLYWOOD's father to do  this.  You need to order the death certificate  from General Register Office Northern Ireland.

Irish death certificates do NOT list names of parents. See here for details that will be included on a 1917 death certificate-

Sorry about that misinformation I gave.

Rootsireland hold the Roman Catholic Parish for Forkhill records.

I wonder if they would be worth a try?

Hi, sorry for jumping on this post. I have recently been researching my family tree and Thomas and Margaret are my great, great, great grandparents. I have not managed to trace any further back than this. I wondered if you found anymore information if you could let me know?

Julie you are responding to an old post. By clicking on a persons name you can see details about them and kerleykins has not posted on the site since 1 Sep 2012.
R.C. parish baptisms and marriage up to 1880 are all now on Ancestry, Findmypast (free collection), and index the images on NLI. The start date of the parish information remains the same however 1845.
