Hi stewnkez,

A Big Welcome to RootsChat and the Wiltshire Board  ;D

Do you know where in Wiltshire Samuel was from? Do you have his convict papers from Australia? What was his occupation in Australia?

I see Samuel WALLIS and Thomas TIBBLES were convicted at New Sarum Assizes 6 March 1847 and transported for 10 years.  Arrived aboard the Adelaide 8 Aug 1849

Cheers Kris  :)

Thanks Chris
No convict papers but yes that's him, tried at New Sarum, 10 yrs, came out on the Adelaide. Went to Berrima Nsw. He was a boot maker. his baptism record (I think it's his ) indicate Wroughton 17.3.1816 son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Grubb) The dates and names tally with his marriage cert.

I appreciate your vey quick response, and help

Later,
Kerry :)

Hi Kris, :)

I'm overwhelmed... will have to sleep on this and get back on line again tomorrow evening. I thought I would wait for months for any response.

Thanks again
Kerry ;)
