Swedish Crews - Lars (or Laws) Anderson

Lars Anderson, born Gotenberg, Sweden approx 1830 is said to be a "Ship's Carpenter" - as decriobed on the Marriage Certificate of his son, Frans Wilhelm (William Francis) Anderson

His son, Frans Wilhelm Anderson born 1855, Gotenberg, Sweden, was also a seaman until his arrival in New Zealand approx 1873.

Are there records of Swedish mariners available showing the ships on which they served?
Any help in this would be very much appreciated

Yes there are records of seamen and their ships. Do you have more information of Lars and Frans?

Thanks for that but further research has uncovered that my great grandfather's name was in fact Frans Theodor BERGSTROM and his father was Lars ROSLIND, they were never married and Frans was baptised with his mother's name.
My close Swedish friend Klas Kohlstrom has traced his ancestry back to the early 1700s so no further help is required on this family,
