Canterbury Marriage

Can anyone please help with any further details of a marriage listed on the IGI
Thomas Morgan and Alice Denn @ St Mary Brendin, Canterbury on 6/12/1718
I am interested to see if the marriage was by Banns or License and if the entry gives the parish of residence of the couple !

 The marriage was by Licence.
He was a ba and she Alice Denne widow both from Ickham.

I have their children born in Ickham
Mary 30/1 1718/9
Ann 7/2/1720/1
Thomas 9/3/1722/3
Cannot find Alice widowed in Ickham or having children there with ? Denne

I am a little surprised that she is listed as a widow, I was expecting the couple to have been from Ickham as I knew Thomas and Alice had the three children you mentioned in Ickham also that Thomas died in Ickham in 1726 and that Alice went on to remarry later in 1726 and have a further 7 children the last being in 1738.
This would seem to leave very little time for an earlier marriage !
Also there seems to be other evidence that her maiden name was Denne.
The will of Thomas Denne of Ickham, probate 1724 contains a mention of his daughter Alice morgan wife of Thomas Morgan also his granddaughter Mary Morgan.

Had his daughter Alice Denne previously been married to a Mr Denne ?

Where did you get the marriage license information from ? could it be wrong?

Whoops sorry my mistake. Hope you haven't wasted time over this .
The entry above shows a Morgan marrying a widow. This shows me you have to check everything.   She was definitely a spinster.
