Irnham parish records look up needed
« on: Saturday 14 February 09 11:24 GMT (UK) »

Please can anyone help with a look up for a John KING born 1801/1802 at Irnham. He died at Ingoldsby aged 74 in 1876.

Its not far from Grantham but has a parish church.

Hope someone can help.

Sorry, no John King baptised in Irnham. The only entry for that Deanery is 1776 Corby. No sign of any Bap in Irnham 1801 +-5 yrs

Thomas King married Elizabeth Brown in 1800 in Irnham.
This is the nearest occurence datewise.

Thomas King married Elizabeth Brown in 1800 in Irnham.

Also Richard KING to Maria WALKER in 1800 Irnham.

There seems to be a lack of obvious baptisms for kids of both of these couples, as well as for the children of John KING.
Don't cry because its over. Smile because it happened.

Thanks for your help. I got the Irnham birthplace from the 1871 census. His wife Elizabeth Pepper is documented at Ingoldsby with her family and they are all there in 1871.

They did marry twice in Church at Ingoldsby and also a catholic one at Irnham.

I think it will be a Roman Catholic path for a baptism that must be searched next.

Thanks again,

Anne
