william macfarlane & margaret struthers
married 26/07/1883 newcastle - on - tyne
this is taken from there son birth certificate
brown family mcclinton (and variants), mcfarlane, buchanan,murray,caskie(and variants) hay family. mcpherson family.mckenzie.whiteside.nichol

You can get the GRO reference from FreeBmd http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/ and order the certificate from the GRO http://www.col.statistics.gov.uk/

There is no marriage for Margaret Struthers in the 3rd quarter of 1883. I have also checked under Strothers.

There is one for a Margaret A Struthers in 1881, Durham but no sign of the right spouse.

i know they they got married on that date because it is on there
