Eileen Mary Young of Pontypool

I am attempting to find some information about Eileen Young born January 23rd or 26th in 1906 or 1907.
She was a daughter of Duckett Young of Pontypool, her mother is unknown as she was committed to a mental home (as far as I know).
Her mother's brothers were Jack, Jimmy and John.
I am in New Zealand and any information would be appreciated.

1901 census for Devon shows  Ducker Young aged 23 occ Stonemason b Ireland.  He was in lodgings

Son b 1910 was James Duckett Young

John b 1913 shows mothers maiden name as Crowley

Freebmd has a marriage in the June qtr 1924 - Eileen Young to William J Evans  Newtown 11B 249

Newtown spans the boundaries of the counties of Montgomeryshire and Powys

Many thanks for your reply - I am currently helping my brother-in-law from England to research his mother's line as he has no idea where to start - the name of Crowley is correct of his grandmother as when I showed him this, he remembered that was the name he had forgotten.
His mother Eileen Young went to Bristol to go nursing and married James Singleton there on 26th December 1937.
As for James Duckett Young, I am told he was born in Cork, Ireland, as borne out by your information from the 1901 census. From that I owuld guess he was born about 1878, and there was a James Young born in Cork in that year according to the IGI.
I could now try the Irish board and see if there is any more news of this man.

A copy of the 1906 marriage cert will give his fathers name which will help in determining if the IGI entry is the correct one

Incidentally does anyone have any more information on Eileen Crowley who married James Duckett Young in Pontypool in 1906, are there any parents for her in sight,

The 1901 has this entry for 187 High St Merthyr Tydfil Glamorgan.  All b Ireland except Florence
