Hi

I have had a look at Rookwood under Herbert and Hobart and sorry to say no luck, the disk only records headstone details so he could be at Rookwood without a headstone, also no details for the crematorium are on the disk

Regards

Cass

Did they predecease him? or did he died first?

if they predeceased him and when he died he was the last of the family, there's a chance that no one took the trouble to bury him with them.

Rookwood Authorities will tell you if he's buried there- but there may be a fee incvolved... no harm in asking.

You can search Independent [Presbyterian, Methodist etc], Catholic and Jewish sections at Rookwood here...Scroll down the page to the links.

http://www.rookwoodcemetery.com.au/

You have to contact the Anglican Office for a search and I think there may be a fee.  There is a page for the Crematorium as well.
