BRIGGMAN in Mayfield/Warbleton 1600s
« on: Wednesday 18 February 09 06:14 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for any information on BRIGGMAN or BRIGMAN in the Mayfield, Rotherfield, Warbleton, or Alfriston areas between approximately 1575-1700.  They were poor undertenants/cottars and maybe weavers.  At least a couple of them were outlaws (one was transported).  They married into the Moone, Latter, and Gilford families.

Any tidbit is graciously appreciated and, of course, I'm happy to share!!

Kerry.....thank you so much!  You are a real sweetie!  Could you please tell me the details of the mini CD on PRs that you mentioned?  So I can be sure to have the full reference/source on this data?  I'm so happy...you made my day!  Thanks, Terri in Texas (Hollering.Woman)
