Hi ,
could someone please be kind enough to do a census lookup for Catherine Frances Jones, born between 1843-7 in Holywell, Flintshire. I am particulary keen to know who her parents were, as this would help a great deal with the family tree im putting together. Thanks.

Jones is not an uncommon name -and there are more than one Catherine frances Jones -not b holywell -but living in the area

Hi , yes i have her married to John Henry Minshull in 1869 Manchester. She appears on the 1901 census.

On the 1901 census it states she was born Llanasa, Wales.

Where did you get her p.o.b. as Holywell from?

1901 is as you say
1891 she is 45 b Trelogan Flints
1881 35 b Llanasa? Flints
1871 23 b (something like) Belliger ? Flints

also 1871 her sister mary is the governess age 27(?) b Flints

and she was living in lancashire on these census

so we are looking for Catherine frances Jones with sister mary

from the census her y.o.b. could be between 1846-48

Could you post where you had a possible d.o.b. as 1843 and the p.o.b. as Holywell???

From the age of the children it looks like William was possibly married twice-if not three times - so maybe Elizabeth is not the mother of Catherine?

I'll see if I can find them in later and erlier census

Hi Suz,
thanks for all your doing. As we speak, i am ransacking the house for the info i have on Catherine! Looking at the info ive entered on the tree, i have her mother being Elizabeth Jones b1822 Llanasa, Flintshire, Wales, also she was widowed by 1881.
I have Emily J Jones as Catherines sister b1854, Llanasa, but off my head, i cant recall where i got all this from...... back to searching the house!
