Thanks for the link.  Jogged my Mom's memory and she came up with Cathays which matches the data base.  Can't afford searches so glad I have most of the dates.  Maybe it will be digitized someday  LizR

But it's only the manual searches for burials up to 1912 that you pay for. After  that, it appears to be free.

Hi marinerclark,

I found the people at Cathays  exceptionally helpful when I was searching for my grandparents buried there in 1913 and 1925...one search was free but not the other.

I asked for help in having a photograph taken of the Headstone, this they did for at no charge to me  :-* :-* (how kind is that). So I received two beautiful photographs from them, with the Inscription re-typed so I could see clearly who else was buried in the grave.  So I got all the information I needed without having to pay  for searches at all.

They even offered that when I was able to travel to Wales, that they would meet me at the gate and take me to the grave if I let them know when and at what time I would be there.

Thanks Amber   My Mom took me to Saint Mary's in Grangetown in 1990 but the cemetary she didn't want to go that far?    Bet it was close.          LizR

If you didn't have a guide or some reference to the graves, you would have been very lucky to find them. The cemetery is huge - 110 acres!
