Pat

No need to feel guilty, that's what rootschat is here for.

But I know what you mean.  I have times when my research intensifies and make more queries but then other times I give my FH a rest and just concentrate on helping others with theirs.  That way I feel vindicated!  :)

Thanks Kerry,  I do usually have a look at new posts to see if I can help anyone and have managed to do it twice in a small way and as you say it makes you feel that you are giving something back.  Regards Pat

Is there anyone out there who can help me with the Hudson family in Swanton Morley, Norfolk please.
The earliest relative I have found is Miles Hudson in the 1841 census age 55 head.
Thanks,
Nevis

Helpful to me? I should say so! Helping me scramble over brickwalls, ignoring my (hopefully) occasional stupidity, making my tatty photos look wonderful and putting me in contact with a wonderful Canadian connection.
I don't know if I manage to say thank you often enough but believe me, I appreciate all you folks out there, even if we haven't managed to sort out GGGrandad the Edinburgh stationmaster...I live in hope!
