Hello Josie

Can't help you with burial, but were you aware that his will is available for £5.00 from www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk  ?

Can I ask if you are in the area? If you are  the burial records are held at Falkirk Archives in Callendar Park.  If you are out of the area you can e mail them and for a small fee they will do a look up for you.  Also the local libraries have little books with burial records in written by the Falkirk History Society, they are called Calatria, and cover a huge area.  I think your best bet is the Archives.

Historical records and archives held by Falkirk Council.

Hi Josie, the Archives in Falkirk are open only on weekdays, they also hold back copies of the falkirk Herald and Grangemouth Advertiser.  I found pictures of my G Uncle and Grandad in the Herald from WW1.  it is well worth a visit and the ladies are lovely, a lot of things are indexed so no need to trawl on fische for hours.   The library has copies of the Falkirk History Society literature and has census etc on fische.  Good luck and though I am not a frequent visitor to the site if I can help you at all I will. Best wishes Lemon
