I found a marriage in the Chislet PRs:

Robert Pettman marr Mary Okenfold 17/1/1677 by Licence.

How do I go about finding details about the licence ?

Marriage at Chislet
John Okenfold of St Nicholas Atwade bonds
15/1/1677

Then the next entry which may confuse you but is interesting
Rob Pettman widr of Ickham yeoman and Abigail Nicholls of Adisham v 27y
at Adisham 21/8/1677

Where did you find the info?

My Rob Pettman died 1688 Chislet so the second one must be a different Rob Petman. Mary Pettman née Okenfold married again to Henry Collard in 1689 St Alphage Canterbury.

Let me know if you want any thing followed up as I have found this source to be one of the most useful as it gives you leads as to where some people are living and other people around like I found one of my grand fathers; a  Geoffrey Beverley, a bondsman to someone, down as a glazier- more info about him as I only have a marriage and a couple of children.

Could you see if there are any Collard marriage licences? I expect that there'll be loads so could you see if you have the following:

Henry Collard & Elizabeth White c1795

John Collard & Mary Philpot 1770 Woodnesborough

Ambrose Collard & Mary Pamplett 1729 St Peters Thanet

Henry Collard & Mary Pettman (née Okenfold) 1689 St Alphege Canterbury & Mary Solly 1680 st Nicholas at Wade

Ambrose Collard before 1657 possibly St Nicholas at Wade.
