Parry, Manchester - 1891 this time
« on: Monday 14 February 05 12:56 GMT (UK) »
Still pursuing Ernest Parry, could I beg a look-up of the 1891 census for Manchester.  He would have been c. 64, a widower.  Thanks

Webb in Bildeston and Colchester.

Hi Sutton Trust

Nothing showing for an Ernest Parry of his age I'm afraid.  I'll try some alternatives though

cheers

freebmd has an Ernest Parry  death recorded in 1889 aged 57, Prestwich - may be too young for yorus though

Paul

PS Do you have a place of birth for Ernest?

Thanks for trying.  He was definitely born c. 1826, and was on the 1881 census.  I can't find a death for him even on 1837online, so I was hoping he was still alive in 1891.

Hi Suttontrust

I can find him in 1871 - but not on 1881!  Where is he in 1881?

Thanks.  He's impossible to trace because there doesn't seem to have been a marriage between him and Elizabeth, and he was born pre civil registration.  Looks like I'll have to give up on him.
