Bodley the Builder? 1894ish
« on: Wednesday 25 February 09 19:57 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
Wondering if anyone can tell me if there are electoral rolls or business rolls for New Windsor area?
Apparently Oliver Bodley (with wife and daughter) was living there for some years in the 1890s.
His nephew  John O C Hill was born at 10 Oak Cottage, Arthur Road, New WIndsor in 1894 .
This was either Oliver's house or maybe the Hill family were actually living there rather than staying with Oliver.
Is there any suggestion as to how I can find who owned/rented 10 Oak Cottage at that time?
And if it was Oliver- how do I find employment information etc. By 1901 census he was in Wandsworth.

Any suggestions welcomed...thanks....Cheers Vicki (New Zealand)
