Marriage George HEAVENS & Martha ROLLANS 1829

Good morning,

I would be grateful if anyone with access to Oxfordshire PR's could help me please.

I'm looking to possibly confirm, and for any details of, the marriage of George HEAVENS b. 1804 Faringdon (son of Angel HEAVENS (no joke !) and Martha HAMBRIDGE) with Martha ROLLANS, apparently born in Warwickshire c1783, and which could have taken place in Bicester, Oxfordshire in 1829.

George was a shoemaker by trade.

Does the OMI give any mention of the respective fathers by any chance ? In particular Martha ?

The entry in the register transcript reads.

St Edburgh, Bicester, 2nd February 1829
George Heavens, bach otp & Martha Rollans (x) otp by Banns.
Wit: Angel Heavens & Harriott Wilkins.

Can't see any sign of Rollans (Rollins and variants etc) in the Baptism registers

Thank you for those extra details, especially the witnesses.

Martha was a widow I think, given her age (about 15 - 20 years older than George) and may have come from Warwickshire if you can trust a census return, so I'm not surprised that you didn't find any Rollans baptisms.
