The Bishop of Durham St Johns registers on the familysearch site seem to be missing 1852, from page 663 it seems to go from 1851 to 1853.
If anyone has access to the registers please could they see if four Collingwood burials are mentioned in 1852 & 53. I have found them on freebmd and can order the certificates but want to see if the burial records are there. I am assuming it will be St Johns as all the children were christened there.
I am looking for ....
Ann Collingwood death registered Jun 1852, aged about 79, widow of Henry Collingwood (snr)
Henry Collingwood (about 1) and Jane Ann Collingwood (about 5) registered Sep 52
Ann Collingwood registered Dec 53 aged about 33 wife of Henry Collingwood (jnr)
I have only just discovered the Collingwoods in my line and it's quite sad as both Henry snr and Henry jnr had first born sons called Henry who subsequently died and their second born sons they also called Henry then survived.
I have a bit more digging to do on the Collingwoods - Henry snr was an upholsterer - the first three children were born in Tynemouth (1807 & 1808) & Newcastle (1810) and the fourth (1812) & fifth (1815) in Birmingham, but widow Ann above was back in Newcastle in 1841, so I wonder what took him there and when and where Henry snr died.
Many thanks!
