This photograph was in a box of old family pictures but have no idea why we have it.  Sadly there is no-one left to enlighten us but I thought there might be a rootschatter out there with some connection who might find it interesting.

The back of the photograph reads ‘H M Submarine K15 Engine Room Crew’.

Interesting, Ken.  I knew about the sinking in harbour but not that it had been so recently commissioned.

I'm now wondering whether the 'not down and out' message on the front refers to the sinking rather than to some wartime incident.
