BUXTON family - Wormley
« on: Sunday 08 March 09 10:23 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I'm looking into the siblings of my 4 x great grandfather James Buxton.

All I know about them is their baptisms to John and Hannah Buxton at Wormley as follows:
Maria, baptised 1789
Thomas, baptised 1791
and James baptised 1793 - 4 x gr grandfather - have records for him

I've not been able to find any census records or marriages for either Maria or Thomas.  The only possible mention I have found is a possible baptised of a Thomas Buxton 1807 at Kings Langley to Thomas and Mary, could be a child of Thomas although he would have married fairly young.

I have checked out the records on HALS online site but nothing there, apart from parents marriage which I have copy of now.

James ends up in Hackney and John is with him for 1841 census and it appeared he died at the workhouse there in 1845.  Hannah was already dead before 1841 although I have not yet found that either.

If anyone is able to find any trace of Maria or Thomas I would be very grateful.
