Eglwysilian Marriage - Thomas & Richards **COMPLETED**

I'm looking for the marriage of Thomas THOMAS and Sarah RICHARDS in Eglwysilian, Glamorganshire about 1882.

Both Thomas and Sarah were born in Eglwysilian.

What I believe is their first child as per the census records, was born in Dinas, Glamorganshire. So it is possible they married outside of Eglwysilian.

Their next three children were born in Eglwysilian.

If anyone can help me locate their marriage certificate, or marriage record, it would be a great help.

It could very well be them and could well be worth ordering the cert to check.

I purchased the birth certificate of one of the daughter's, and under the 'name of mother' section it says the following....

Sarah Thomas
late Moore
formerly Richards

Moore being her married name to the first husband, and Richards being her maiden name.

I have now found the marriage certificate for Thomas Thomas & Sarah Moore (not Richards) 1881 O-N-D Pontypridd 11a 617, which I will be ordering tonight......let's hope it's right!

The marriage certificate turned out to be the correct one. My Thomas Thomas did marry a Sarah Moore (widow). Hopefully I can now take things a little bit further...
