Please could someone check the early census for me
.
Rachel Walters ? born   ( on the 1881 census she was 34)
Tregaron Monmouth.
I did find a Rachel Walters on FreeBMD born March 1845 reg Abergavenny

She married John Phelps March 1865 reg in Bedwlty.

I am trying to find her parents and family.

Found them in 1871 - she says then she was 24 and born Tredegar 

Do you have that record ?

Thank you for searching for me ,it could be Tredegar I had the infomation from the 1881 cenus that she was born in Tregaron Monmouth.

Well, at the moment I can't find a candidate born in Tregaron or Tredager in 1861 or 1851 

There's one born 1847 Bedwelty in 1851 parents Thomas and Margaret  - can't find them in 1861   

The only one of the era in 1861 born Bedwelty - not Tredegar or Tregardon - was born in 1851 - presnts William and Ann.

I think you might have to get the marriage certificate and find her father's name

She was 34 in 1881 so that would be born 1847 so maybe her parents where Margaret and Thomas,  One of Rachels sons was a Thomas.
She did marry in Bedwelty, if that near Tregaron? sorry am hopeless at Geography.

I'm a bit wobbly on Welsh geog  -  reply on Mr Google - who shows that Tregaron is a little place in Tredegar,  Abergavenny   

Bedwelty was in the registration district of Abergavenny, sub district Tredegar.

So - here's that family in 1851  -  although I still can't spot them in 1861
