parish headon notts
« on: Friday 13 March 09 11:55 GMT (UK) »
hi all,
after a very long illness i am back trying to research my family again.i have come to a brick wall regarding the parents of John Bowskill born about 1687 Headon Notts ,and his wife Dorothy Wilson born 1688. i think they were married july 15 1712 Headon Notts. i have looked on the iga,but can not see anything that fits. any help/ideas would be most grateful as i can't drive far at the moment as i would like to look at the parish registers.best regards james

Hi James,
I've found details of a marriage on 15 June 1712, at Headon - this was from the Notts FHS cd - which they transcribed from the parish registers.
I do hope you feel better soon; and are able to get out and about again.
Take care,
Paulene :)
P.S. If you need any more help just ask, James.

James,
Forgot to say that they have Wilson as Willson on the marriage cd.
Thought I'd better say, just in case it's significant.
Bye for now.
Paulene :)
