(Yorks) 1851/1861/1871 Census LooksUp Requests Please For Arthur R Rossiter

Hi,

I am doing a one name study of the Rossiter family tree and am looking for information please about the parents, grandparents, siblings and children of Arthur Robert Rossiter baptised on January 24th 1864 at Bilsdale Midcable.

Parents are believed to be William and Elizabeth Rossiter but that's all I know about them.

Any information would be greatly appreciated please. TIA.

I can't see him at all in 1871.

However, there is this    :

Death reg:  Arthur Robert Rossiter  aged 4. Farnham  Q3. 1868  Vol. 2a  Pg. 62

I realise it's at the other end of the country, as it were, but the birth reg. Jacques found is the only one anywhere for an Arthur Robert who would be 4 in 1868

It's possible that he was born & died between censuses.

Are there any signs of William & Elizabeth please?

And are there any other Rossiters living in that area please?

The age certainly fits and it's not unusual for people to move long distances.

Is there any sign of William or Elizabeth there please?

Or are there any other Rossiters in the Farnham area please?

None that I can see in Farnborough - nearest is Aldershot  -  William and Eliza, with 6 children all born Aldershot.

I recognise that family. The children were born in Farnham and baptised in Aldershot so that family has been eliminated.

It looks like Arthur's parents are still in Yorkshire somewhere.
