Yes Kat, you did.  I haven't got any further with James Porter, but here is the marriage of James Levingstone and Rebecca Porter:
2 April 1872 in Lurgan Registrar's Office
James Levingston, 33 years, widower, weaver, Ballydugan, Tullylish, father William Levingston, farmer to
Rebecca Porter, 25 years, spinster, weaver,Knocknamuckley,Seagoe, father James Porter, farmer
witnesses Robert Dickson and John Levingston
Yes, James Levingston's parents were William Levingston and Elizabeth Thompson.
In the 1911 census Rebecca Livingston,(born Co. Armagh) widow and daughter Emma (30) still in Ballydugan, with James Abraham age 11 who the family say was adopted by Rebecca and James Livingston.  I wonder who he was??

You wondered who the little boy adopted was - I don't know but from his surname Abraham he probably comes from the Montiaghs DED at the top of county Armagh on the shores of lough neigh - there are various Abraham families there, whom my wife is related to.

Hi Rosemary
I have been searching for my mother in relation to her father and my grandfather James Abraham.  Our understanding is that my grandad, Jimmy, as we called him was adopted but little was know of the circumstances.  I read your comments with much relief, could you please tell us how you came by this information.
Many many thanks
Paul
