Old Windsor parish records EWER post 1812
« on: Tuesday 17 March 09 04:02 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

My EWER (sometimes EWERS) ancestors are from the Clewer/New Windsor/Old Windsor area. While I've managed to look at parish registers for Clewer and New Windsor, I have only seen birth/death/marriage indexes for Old Windsor up to 1812.

I was wondering whether anyone had a parish index for Old Windsor and would be willing to let me know if any EWER's exist after 1812? I would not expect many, but there are one or two key gaps I'm keen to fill in.

Many thanks,
matt

There are about 30 Ewer's in Clewer and New Windsor burials. None in old windsor. I will transcribe them when I get some time later.

Matt,

Thank you very much for your kindness in looking up burial records for New Windsor, Old Windsor and Clewer. I understood Old Windsor to be very close to the other two, so was surprised that there were no Ewer's at any point in Old Windsor (well, dying there anyway)!

cheers,
matt
