Devon DNA Project
« on: Tuesday 17 March 09 12:57 GMT (UK) »
I've been running a DNA surname project (Cruwys, Cruse and Crewes) for a year and a half now and have seen at first hand how DNA testing can not only verify existing genealogical research but also connect families where no paper trail exists. I have now set up a Devon DNA project so that anyone with a Devon surname which is not yet included in a surname project can participate. You can read more on the project website:

http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Devon

The more people who take part the more we will learn and the more brickwalls we will be able to break down.

If you are a Cruse, Cruwys, Crewes (or any of the many other variants) you are welcome to participate in my surname project which can be found here:

Researching: Ayshford, Berryman, Bodger, Boundy, Cruse, Cruwys, Dillon, Faithfull, Kennett, Keynes, Ratty, Tidbury, Trask, Westcott, Wiggins, Woolfenden.
