This is a message to johngirl, I'm new to this site and was navigating around, and saw your e-mail regarding your relatives, who are interred in Toxteth Park Cemetery.  I live in Liverpool and have relatives in the same burial ground, if you e-mail the website with the names of your relatives I will go to the cemetery and take photo's of the headstones (if they exist).

Another kind rootschatter has already taken a photo for me of my G Grandparents grave site at Toxteth Park Cemetery. There is no headstone but the person took a photo of where the gravesite is for me. Its just Grass but I was happy with that. I did find the grave number etc on the Toxteth Park Cemetery Website which is a great website for us researchers.

I`m now trying to find whereabouts my G Uncle John Ernest Isaac is buried who died in 1873. My G Grandparents lived in West Derby at the time. I cannot find him buried in Toxteth Park Cemetery.
Don`t know if you will be able to help me with this.

I have to go to Liverpool City Centre to do some research of my own, at the Central Library in William Brown Street.  I will ask if they have a record of a burial for you.

I also have my G Aunt Hannah Isaac buried at Toxteth Park Cemetery.
I haven`t had anyone search for her grave as yet.
This is where she is buried.

Hannah Isaac Section 12 Grave number 565.
Not sure if there would be a headstone I doubt it though. Hannah was my Grandfathers sister who died aged four.

A silly question here!!!   Were they Jewish, the name sounds like they could have been.  There are some Jewish cemeteries in Liverpool.

Also, do you know date of birth, in case record office has any trouble locating records, just on death alone?

No not a silly question at all.
No my Isaac ancestors were not Jewish. My G Grandfather was born in Badminton Gloucestershire. My GG Grandfather and GGG Grandfather and my GGGG Grandfather were also born in various parts of Gloucestershire. They came to England in the 11th Century from Normandy as far as I can tell.
John Ernest Isaac his birth was registered in March 1872. 8b 303.
John Ernest Isaac death was registered September 1873. 8b 230. He was aged 1 at the time of death.
John Ernest Isaac was my Grandfathers brother.
I do not have a birth date or death date for him sorry only what I have above. I haven`t yet applied for his birth or death certificate due to insufficient funds
