1851 Ruabon
« on: Saturday 21 March 09 10:32 GMT (UK) »
Hi :)
Are some parts of Ruabon parish still missing from ancestry in 1851 please? and would this include  Acrefair or would that been included under another parish :-\

I noticed from some earlier threads/posts that Ruabon wasn't included initially but would like to confirm if it has since been added.

Thank you

Acrefair and the rest of the Cefn Mawr area of the then Ruabon Parish are indeed missing from the 1851 Census on Ancestry.

I'm a bit puzzled why you don't think that they're yours

You said:

I found 10 years earlier:

Add 10 years to the children's ages and you have what you found in 1861 - correct names, correct birth places.

I've not yet found the Kellys. The 1851 for that area is very jumbled so it means going through carefully. It takes a llong time to go through census pages page by page and I've been shopping and gardening. I'll check on them later.

Hi
Sorry as I appear to have confused you ::)

Firstly Mary Jones. I have the family in 1861 husband not at home. Huh and he had died by 1871  Trying to confirm that he is called John?

You have definatley found the ones I was searching for but I don't now think they are my lot, a case of too many Jones ::) ??? ;D unless of course John Jones who I was hoping was Mary's husband has died and she has remarried. ;D

Complicated and a long shot but I had to at least check it out. :)
