Hello everyone, I'm hoping someone can give me some advice. I have found the burial in Wells next the Sea of Thomas Allen age 69, he was buried 22 Oct. 1821, there is a note in the PR's that he hanged himself. I would like to see if there's any mention of this in the newspapers or a coroners report. Does anybody know how I would go about this, my interest in this is that he seems to be my direct line.

Crossing my fingers that someone can point me in the right direction, kind regards, Brenda

Coroner's reports (if they have survived) will be at the Norfolk Record Office. Newspapers are held at the Heritage Centre at the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library. If you email the Record Office, they should be able to tell you if they have any coroner's records that might help, but I think the newspaper search will be a matter of going to the Heritage Centre and trawling through the papers or hiring a researcher to do it for you.
