Agnetta,
From my notes I know that there is a grave in Bovevagh Presbyterian Church for Steele of Drumaduff which may give some information. I will have a look today.

Agnetta,
Have had a look at the grave but it may be that of your Catherine Steele's brother John, bc1836, d1921, and his wife and son.

Considering the time frame I have two marriages in Bovevagh Presbyterian Church, one 1830 and the other 1836 but the groom's name is Joseph Steele in both cases.

Kingskerswell,(Morrison)Thanks for that. I realise that Catherine's father, John Steele, didn't necessarily get married in Bovevagh Meeting House, but it was hope against hope, that maybe he HAD,or there would be a baptism for Catherine giving her mothers name.
He could have married in Dungiven,Limavady,or somewhere out of the area altogether!
The time frame for John (on the gravestone) sounds like it might have been a brother,or maybe cousin.I don't know if Catherine had siblings.(probably did)
Thanks again for your help. Agnetta
