Can anyone help me find details re the parents of Henry Knowlson.
He was born c1814.
In 1871 census he is living in the parish of St Philip and St Jacob Bristol with wife Jane A, son alfred ( my great grandfather ) and daughter Elisa.
I would also like to find out Janes maiden name.

Am I right to think that Crewshold is a district of Bristol? Streetmap.co.uk didn't recognise it.
