Why am I different ?

Please excuse my ignorance but when I put a new topic posting on it doesn't state new as other postings do.Also the folder on the left is yellow whereas everyone else's seems to be blue.

I am going into beginners clicking on new topic, typing and pressing post, should I be doing something different.Don't like being the odd one out !!

Hi Sandyq,

Perhaps somebody else is going to correct me, but as far as I know, "new" means that it is a topic (or that there are posts inside a topic) that YOU have not seen yet. As for the folders, the yellow folder means you have posted in it.
These signs appear on your computer - however, to the other chatters, your posts look just as everbody else's.

It doesn't say new because it ain't new to you    Unless some one posts in reply and then new will appear
