You already have a thread under Co. Kildare looking for William. Do you have any idea where he might have been born? I would suggest cheking for birth registration in index on LDS Pilot site except that Moore is such a common surname that it would be impossible to find the correct one just from the index as you have only an approxiamate date.

Have you found William in any census where his county of birth would be shown?

It helps to include all relevent details, like birthplace, in your post to save others who are trying to help you needless confusion and duplication of effort.

I have had a good look for your William John Moore.  There is a birth registered in Newtownards for a William in 1882 April/June quarter, Vol 1 page 842
which MIGHT be him, but I can find no record of a marriage between Samuel Moore and Jane Lightbody.  There are lots of Samuel Moores in the Newtownards area and also quite a few Lightbodys, but without any further clues we can't go any further.  It might be worth getting the details of this birth.
Do you know when William went to New Jersey??

Cully, Bannister, McConnell, Wallace (Co. Armagh)  Anderson, Ross (Co. Antrim), Gray, Truesdale (Co. Down)
McCormick (Killyleagh and finally Belfast)

Have you found an exact date of birth in U.S. records yet? (Social Security death index or WWII registration cards for example)

"The Fourth Registration, often referred to as the "old man's registration", was conducted on 27 April 1942 and registered men who born on or between 28 April 1877 and 16 February 1897 - men who were between 45 and 64 years old - and who were not already in the military."
