Wrawby Marriages

Hi All,
  From the Yarborough marriage Indexes that I have I found a marriage taking place at this parish between William WRAY and Mary ?? in 1716.
I'm hoping Mary's maiden name was SHEARWOOD.

Can anyone help me prove this.

There are a large number of marriages in Wrawby where the surname of the female party is unknown or unclear and just the christian name is used. attacking the problem the other way round - hunting via the female names got no result either.

The only other extra information the IGI gives is that the marriage took place on 22nd May 1716. They list the spouse as Mary WRAY.

Thank-you both for trying to help. I guess her maiden name will stay a mystery as it looks like ordering the parish records will not help either
