Dodge Family

I am tracing the Dodge family tree and cant trace them on the 1861 and 1871 census

In 1851 Eliza(born ? in England),Frederick,Ernest and William (b1845) were living at 42 Great Union Road,St Hellier

In 1881 William was living at 20 Poonah Road and ELiza in Columbus Street

Would anyone be able to trace them on the 1861 and 1871 census

There is a Frederick Dodge in the 1861 Census as

Frederick Dodge  single m  1837  24   ordinary   born  St Helier Jersey

Royal Navy at sea and in Ports Abroad

Vessel: Calypso

RG 09  4438  58  6

yes that would fit for Frederick as he was born 1837

William and his mother Eliza are the direct delative of my friend

Hi Kevin,in the 1881 census for 20 Poonah Road there there is a Elizabeth Dodge sailors wife plus three other members of the Dodge family Elizabeth a 5 and Annie L 3 are these nothing to do with William?William is listed as grandson and the two girls are listed as grandaughters.This William was born in 1880.

is this the correct Elizabeth?

this could be correct as Frederick was down on one census as Frederick Oliver

As for Elizabeth her husband (William) was moored on a ship called The Obey in 1881
