Offer: RADNAGE Rectory Accounts 1767 to 1775
« on: Thursday 16 April 09 15:44 BST (UK) »
Hi

I have the accounts book for the Rectory in RADNAGE kept by the rector Charles William TONYN  between 1767 and 1775. The book details purchases made for the house including payments to trades people and staff.

I have produced a transcript of the book and am willing to do look ups for individuals who think they might have had relatives working for the Rector during that period or been trades people in the village. The surnames in the accounts include STONE, BOWDERY, HUNT, DORMER, WELLS, TAYLER, NEWELL, BRITNALL, SALE, SEAL, HELEY, JENKINSON, HOWLAND and there are many others. The trades include tailors, builders, gardeners, surgeons, apothecary, coal merchants, millers, maltsters, carriers, butchers, grocers, collar makers, shoemakers, seedsmen etc.

For a look up request please start a new topic in the CENSUS and RESOURCE LOOKUP REQUEST board for this county with RADNAGE in the title or if you don't hear from me within a week send me a Personal Message
