The other topic was posted about finding more children, besides Duncan McKenzie HOSSACK, to parents named William HOSSACK and Ann, ms HOSSACK.....

In  1901, Duncan is with a HOSSACK grandparent in 9 Upper Kessock Street.
Gorkum  - to save us looking for/typing up  things you already may have - do you already have this census and do you already know which of Duncan's parents the grandmother was a parent to? Do you already have the 1891 Census?

It may be worth downloading the birth certificate of Duncan 1886 if you have not done so already.
To begin to establish if in fact he was from a legitimate union of a William HOSSACK and Ann HOSSACK. Or whether on his marriage lines he made up the William bit to cover illigitimacy........

Cheers

Hi Gorkum

I've given you the information on my previous posts.

also found that Ann Hossack subsequently married a William Murray, Inverness 1888.

SP will give you the full details.

It's sometimes difficult for a newcomer but it's best to read all the messages on a thread.

Regards
