thanks andrea i will, i had a few names but no dates much,i was as far as my nanna(rosella)&no more. i must say this is the best site,as this is where i have gotten just about all my names&dates. its great!oliveo

oliveo, Andrea's advice is the way to go... keep a record of everything you learn and make a notes of the source of the information...

 believe me, you may think at this point , that you will remember where the info came from but later you will find you've forgottn.  then if you want to go back to check...  :(  you can't remember.
  So documenting sources is very important.

Seems you're finding how addictive this all is ;D ;D

I KNOW WHAT YOUR SAYING CHARLOTTE, I TAKE NOTES ETC,ITS KNOWING WHOS WHO IN THE FAMILY CHAIN WITH SO MANY WITH SAME NAME .  YES I AM CAUGHT UP IN IT,SO GLAD TO FIND OUT ABOUT MY NANNA S FAMILY. I FOUND A NOTE I WRITTEN ALONG TIME AGO,IT NANNA 5MTHS OLD&THAT WAS ON A POST.SO FEEL LIKE IT IS HER IT WILL TAKE TIME I KNOW,BUT I AM SURE I WILL GET IT STRAIGHT.THANKS OLIVEO

oliveo, it might be worth considering suing a computer family history program... is your computer  a Mac or a pc?
If you tell us maybe we can suggest a freebie genealogy program for download.. They allow you to document sources also!

 Just a couple of snippets of info.

In the Holy Island section of the Parson & White's trade directory of 1827, the Blacksmith is George Taylor-- maybe later others in family took up the trade ( e.g. on 1871 census 5179-36-4)

In the Holy Island section of the Kelly's trade directory of 1910, Thomas Fender was a farmer.

yes michael his son allan was a blacksmith also according to the 1861 cencus  oliveo
