Lyceum Place, Chorlton

Can anyone give me a location of Lyceum Place, Chorlton.  I have an 1849 OS map but am unable to find it.

Do you have some one there on a census?

If so - the enumerators description of their walk should give you some clues  ;)

Would you like to post who and which census and we can have a look ?
Census information is Crown Copyright from TNA.
Titchfield, Hampshire: Reed,  Fielder, Cawte, Goddard.
Kent:  Float,  Cutbush. 
Wallasey, Cheshire: Carroll, Ledsham.

Hi Luzzu,

I'm guessing you have godfrey map no 38? 
Lyceum Place and Lyceum Terrace (seems to be back to back with each other) ae a terrace of houses by the junction of Lower Chatham St and Cavendish St.  So it might be down as part of Chatham St on the census.

Not far from the Sally, where I used to sip orange juice  ;D when I was at Manchester Poly!

Hi,

Thanks for your help.  I don't have the address on a census but have noticed it on a birth certificate I sent for.  It is Godfrey's 38 I have and I can see it now.
