Jane HAWKINS, Little Coxwell: b.1821 or 1823 ??

I would be grateful if anyone could help clear up the question of the birth of Jane HAWKINS from Little Coxwell.

On 24th October 1842 in Longcot, William Carter HEAVENS married Jane HAWKINS, spinster, servant, Little Coxwell, aged 21,
"daughter of Maria, spinster".

This would give a dob theoretically 1821.

The only Jane HAWKINS from Little Coxwell I have been able to find so far was the daughter of William & Ann HAWKINS, born 7th December 1823, baptised 11th January 1824 in Little Coxwell. This Jane would therefore have only been 18 for a marriage in 1842

If anyone has access to Little Coxwell PR's and can throw any light on the, apparently, 2 different Jane's I would very much appreciate it.
