I have Violet on my tree married 30 Sept 1933 with the 3 children so Violet was my first cousin once removed.

Nice to make contact with you - I have all my tree on both Ancestry and Genes Reunited.  Regards Val

Violet Langthorp was my mother and she always said her father was born in the Patrington area, I have been to the Church at Patrington there are a few Langthorps buried there. His Father was a John Langthorp married Sarah Baily in 1861 at Swine. But Kirsty have you not seen the family tree I gave to your Nana my sister Gilda. John Langthorp Thomas's father was a plumber/glazier.
