software

Can anyone tell me if there is any free genealogy software I could download for a trial run please? I am reluctant to buy any without knowing something about it. Most of all I need to find something that's really easy to use....don't need an all-singing-all-dancing version  ;D
Thank you  :)

This one is excellent

I think it is easy to learn and it is free. There is a chargeable version and when you have stretched the free version then you might decide to upgrade but no need to.
